Tear glucose sensing contact lenses for diabetics

This is a non-invasive and continuous monitorization system for tear & indirectly blood glucose levels, for diabetic patients. These lenses sense the increased glucose concentration in tears and react by spontaneous change in color. When blood and tear glucose levels increase above a certain threshold, the diabetic patient sees the environment colorfully and others see the change in his/her iris color.
